Marg was an avid artist from an early age and art was part of her education
up to the age of 18. Art was the path not taken, but she returned to her
first love of art in her mid-forties.
Marg is passionate about color and light. She
loves to paint scenes from nature and portraits of interesting people. She is
an avid gardener and her flowers, shrubs and trees are a great inspiration. She
also paints material from trips to England, Tibet and Peru. Her portrait
audience now extends from family and friends, to commissioned work, and to
hospice patients.
Marg has taken a number of courses at DeCordova,
some classes under Craig Srebnik, and recently is following the teaching of
Lois Griffel for impressionist landscapes.
